The Gray Charter School will begin the school year on Sepetember 8, 2020 with a remote instructional program schedule. The decision to begin the school year with remote instruction was largely based on the feedback that we received from our school community, as well as our efforts to better ensure the health, safety and well-being of all students, staff, parents, and school service providers.

The plan that is contained in the document linked below was developed in collaboration with students, staff, parents, board members and administrators. Given all of the available information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, we fell that it is the besst plan for all concerned

About The Gray Charter School

Statement About Drinking Water

The Gray Charter School is not affected by the recent concerns regarding elevated amounts of lead that was discovered in some of the city’s water supplies. The State Department of Education understands that lead in drinking water continues to be an issue within local school communities and has worked in collaboration with the State Department of Health and the Department of Environmental Protection, to create a back-to-school package of resources for school districts to use regarding testing for lead in school drinking water and educating families on prevention, screening, and intervention related to lead exposure.
