On Monday March 16, 2020 Governor Murphy ordered the indefinite closing of all state public, private and charter schools. This order may remain in effect past the Gray Charter School’s initial reopening date. Please monitor news reports in order to be informed as to when the Governor orders schools reopened. We will update our school website with this information as we receive it. In the meantime, please remain healthy and take the proper steps to eliminate the spread of Covid-19. We look forward to seeing everyone back at school just as soon as this health crisis ends. Click the link below to read the official school announcement.

About The Gray Charter School

Statement About Drinking Water

The Gray Charter School is not affected by the recent concerns regarding elevated amounts of lead that was discovered in some of the city’s water supplies. The State Department of Education understands that lead in drinking water continues to be an issue within local school communities and has worked in collaboration with the State Department of Health and the Department of Environmental Protection, to create a back-to-school package of resources for school districts to use regarding testing for lead in school drinking water and educating families on prevention, screening, and intervention related to lead exposure.
